The Greek word “Techne” refers the application of learned methods or a system of knowledge used to achieve an objective or to create an innovation. With our domain expertise developed from renowned research organisations and our decades of industry experience, we aim to advise and serve Senior Management in global MNCs and best-in-class local enterprises.

Foong King Yew
Singapore
Foong has over 20 years of experience in the info-communications industry in Asia. He is formerly Vice President and Chief of Research (Telecommunications) at Gartner where he focused on telecoms, the Internet of Things, innovation, scenario planning, and disruptive trends. He was also responsible for thought leadership and research quality.
Foong has advised many senior executives from global communications service providers and equipment vendors on corporate strategy, market opportunities, and digital transformation. Foong holds an MBA degree from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Melbourne.
Sanjiv Sharma

Sanjiv is an Enterprise Singapore (ESG) approved Registered Management Consultant (RMC). He is a practising Marketing, Business and Brand Consultant to Singapore and overseas-based enterprises, having helped more than 100 companies, partnerships and sole proprietors succeed by addressing their growth barriers in markets like Asia and Africa.
Sanjiv has worked professionally with many MNC B2B and B2C brands in a leadership capacity in Ogilvy Action, JWT Always, Bates 141 and eventually, his own Southeast Asia-wide shopper marketing and activation agency, Avocceight. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Economics from Deakin University. Sanjiv is fluent in English and Malay and an excellent business coach and mentor.
Aileen Gimenez
Philippines
Aileen’s research experience started in 2006 when she joined IMS Health Philippines and was involved in conducting primary market research for MNC and local pharmaceutical companies and healthcare clients. In 2014, Aileen moved to GfK to setup and develop the healthcare business of the company. She is also experienced in the FMCG sector.
Aileen has worked with global best-in-class market research companies such as IMS Health (now IQVIA), Ipsos and GfK. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications majoring in communications research from the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City. She is fluent in English and Tagalog which she uses to great effect as a market researcher and an executive interviewer.
Tanya Paiboonsuk
Thailand
Tanya developed her acumen in business and market research while working in various sales and marketing positions in MNCs and local enterprises based in Thailand. Her areas of expertise are in the recruitment of research subjects, conducting in-depth interviews, posing as shoppers for mystery shopper projects and research project management.
Tanya specialises in developing competitive and customer intelligence for the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Based in Bangkok, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from the Ramkhamhaeng University and is fluent in English and Thai.
Erica Gadjuli
Indonesia
Erica has over 15 years experience with Gartner’s Technology and Service Provider Research Group. She was part of the client computing hardware team covering the Southeast Asia countries before moving on as a Principal Analyst for server systems for the same markets. Her main responsibilities included quarterly market research and forecasts.
Based in Jakarta, Erica’s areas of expertise are in market research, trends analysis, market sizing and forecasting as well as data analysis in IT Hardware and other emerging technology areas. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Canterbury and is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Patrick Tran
Vietnam
Honed by his years of experience working in various commercial entities in Vietnam, Patrick’s areas of expertise are in the development of business cases and the evaluation of feasibility to enter the Vietnam market with new products and services. His research experience includes banking and finance, entrepreneurship and technology.
Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Patrick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the Ho Chi Minh Open University and is fluent in English and Vietnamese. He was instrumental in project managing a study on Banks and Financial Institutions operating in Vietnam, and their current and planned IT expenditures.
Bryan Yuan
China
Bryan is an expert Market Analyst and Consultant with over 15 years of experience. His areas of expertise include business and growth strategy planning, Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, new business incubation and innovation as well as Mergers & Acquisition (M&A). He developed his expertise at Schneider Electric and Honeywell in China.
Bryan holds an MBA degree from the Renmin University of China and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Beijing Institute of Technology.
